A Teenage Philosopher At His Piano
ContentAnyway... that isn't the point of the Journal Entry.
This is:
I've been thinking about something odd, well... for some time now
(Tomb Raider players will know what I mean when I say "say it the way Lara says "I've been looking for certain artifacts" from TR:Legend! Sorry to break the mood, but I just love quoting Lara!)
and I've finally decided to put something up, as :moonlit-azura: suggested it would be a philosophical Journal Entry.
Lately (and I mean the past few weeks, or months, perhaps), when I’ve been doing something, like playing the piano, for example, I’ve had a mini-epiphany, so to speak, and I’ve thought to myself,
"Gosh... this is me doing this."
I'm playing, and it's like,
“Wow... am I actually doing this, or is someone else and I’m watching from a different Universal Plane or something?"
It's the same with typing. It's become second nature to me. It's as if I was born with it.

Born with the ability to do what I’m doing now, when in actual fact I’ve had to learn and improve. It's a weird feeling. I'm not actually aware that I'm doing the task I’m doing... I just am y'know? It truly is weird.
I was wondering if anyone else feels the same about it. You sort of appreciate the fact that you can do these things, at least I do, and then you ponder to yourself,
"Well, what if I couldn't?"
It's only a brief encounter, and then it passes, with haste, but still.
I have it when I've wanted to learn something on the piano for ages, and finally I can do, because I'm at that level. And I just play it then without a problem. I don't think about it. I just do it – unconsciously. It's mind boggling. I have to stop what I'm doing for a couple of seconds to take it all in... but then I carry on.
Well... I've written that now. Glad I've let it out. I've just finished having a rant about the Pope to my dear friend, Moonlit-Azura. I won't put my beliefs on the Internet, because that could get me into trouble, but if you know me well enough, you know how I feel about Christians, etc. I shall go now becuase I must be off.

Have you played the New TR yet? Sadly..I couldn't, my computer wasn't up to spec. I will have to buy a console at some point. This was the first time I haven't been able to play TR Ahhh! haha

And YES I have played Underworld!!! Twice, on two different platforms. I'd advise that you DON'T play it on Playstation 2, becuase compared to PC and PS3 it's not up to scratch. But when I played it for the second time on my computer, it was great. You have to play it!! Visually, it's glorious to look at
You've done quite a bit of work! They all look amazing, as usual! So detailed, and accurate.
I should post something up soon. I haven't done anything to do so though... oh well.

ahh I have play TR soon! Just hearing about it from you.. I know it's going to be awesome... I'm glad you liked it! I tell ya, I almost went right out and bought a PS3. Or a new computer haha. But I can't afford to yet. I will eventually, since it's a blue ray player as well. I can tag it as an investment haha
